  1. Agreement Overview

These Terms & Conditions constitute a legal and binding agreement between the client (“you”) and Skyline VIP Limo (“SVL”), governing the use of our transportation services. By confirming a reservation, you agree to comply with all policies listed herein.

  1. Flight Monitoring

SVL actively monitors all inbound flights to and from JFK, LaGuardia (LGA), and Newark (EWR) to ensure accurate pickup timing.

  • You do not need to call if your flight is delayed.
  • Please notify us immediately if your flight number changes or if you miss your flight.
  • If an incorrect arrival flight number is provided, SVL cannot guarantee accurate pickup timing.
  • Wait time charges apply after 60 minutes of driver standby beyond gate arrival.
  1. Airport Pickup Procedures

For all NYC airports (JFK, LGA, EWR):

  • Proceed to the baggage claim level regardless of checked luggage.
  • Once you have all bags, call or text your assigned driver.
  • In compliance with Port Authority regulations, all livery vehicles must remain in the holding lot until passenger contact. Please allow 10–15 minutes for vehicle arrival after you reach out.
  1. Wait Time Policy

Point-to-Point Transfers / Trips to Airport:

  • 15 minutes of complimentary wait time included.
  • After 15 minutes, billing begins in 15-minute increments: Sedan $119.23/hr, SUV LUX $138.05/hr, Sprinter/Stretch Limo $219.63/hr.
  • If a client has not arrived within 30 minutes and contact cannot be made, the trip may be marked as a No Show.

Airport Arrivals:

  • 1 hour of complimentary wait time (domestic and international).
  • Wait time starts at flight gate arrival time.
  • Overtime billed at: Sedan $119.23/hr, SUV LUX $138.05/hr, Sprinter/Stretch Limo $219.63/hr.
  1. Additional Stops

Unscheduled or additional stops are subject to dispatch approval and vehicle availability. Each added stop will be billed at the hourly rate with a $20 minimum per stop.

  1. Cancellation & Change Policy
  • Sedans/SUVs: Cancellations allowed up to 3 hours before pickup time without charge.
  • Stretch Limos, Sprinters, Coaches: Cancellations allowed up to 72 hours prior to pickup.
  • Late cancellations are charged 100% of the trip total.
  • Hourly reservations canceled within 3 hours are billed 2 hours minimum.
  • Changes may incur additional charges and are subject to SVL’s scheduling discretion.
  1. No-Show Policy

If dispatch cannot contact the passenger within 30 minutes of the scheduled pickup time, the trip will be marked as a No Show, and full charges apply.

  • Domestic flights: No show if no contact within 1 hour of arrival.
  • International flights: No show if no contact within 2 hours of arrival.

If prior instructions are given to wait, or extended wait time is approved, no-show fees do not apply.

  1. Vehicle Damage & Cleaning Fees

A minimum $250 fee (or actual cost if greater) will be charged for any vehicle damage, excessive cleaning, or soiling, including but not limited to: food or beverage spills, burns or tears, makeup or bodily fluid cleaning, interior damage or stains.

  1. Payment & Credit Cards
  • Credit cards are processed within 24 hours of trip completion.
  • For specialty vehicles (stretch limos, vans, buses, coaches), payments may be processed up to 72 hours prior to service.
  • All rates include applicable New York State taxes and toll surcharges.
  • If a credit card is declined, SVL reserves the right to collect payment via alternative means, including invoicing with a $25 late payment fee for balances unpaid beyond 7 days                                  
  • 10.1 Fraud Prevention & Identity Verification

    To protect our clients, chauffeurs, and business from fraudulent bookings and unauthorized credit card use, Skyline VIP Limo (“SVL,” “we,” or “us”) reserves the right to request identity verification before confirming any reservation. This policy is applied consistently based on objective criteria and is not targeted at any individual or group.

    When Verification May Be Required

    SVL may request identity verification under any of the following circumstances: first-time bookings exceeding $500 in total fare; bookings where the cardholder name does not match the passenger name; same-day or last-minute bookings paid by credit card; bookings originating from flagged or high-risk sources; any booking where SVL has a reasonable, good-faith concern about the legitimacy of the payment method or the identity of the client.

    What We May Request

    When identity verification is triggered, SVL may request one or more of the following: a photo or scan of a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport); confirmation that the name on the ID matches the name on the credit card used for payment; a selfie photo for visual comparison with the ID photo; a Stripe-powered card authorization link to securely verify the payment method on file.

    Client Obligations

    If SVL requests identity verification, the client must provide the requested documentation within 24 hours of the request or prior to the scheduled pickup time, whichever comes first. Failure to provide the requested verification may result in the reservation being held, cancelled, or subject to a full cancellation charge as outlined in the Cancellation Policy section of these Terms & Conditions.

    Data Handling & Privacy

    All identification documents submitted for verification purposes will be used solely to confirm the client’s identity and payment authorization. SVL will securely delete all submitted ID images within 72 hours of the completed trip or within 72 hours of a cancelled reservation, whichever occurs first. SVL will not share identification documents with any third party except as required by law or in connection with a fraud dispute. All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at skylineviplimo.com/privacy-policy. This policy complies with applicable New York State and New York City consumer protection and data privacy regulations.

    Right to Refuse Service

    SVL reserves the right to refuse service to any client who declines to provide requested identity verification, provides documentation that does not match the payment method on file, or provides documentation that SVL reasonably believes to be fraudulent, altered, or invalid. In such cases, the booking will be cancelled and any applicable cancellation fees will apply.

    New York City Compliance

    This verification policy is applied uniformly in accordance with the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL). SVL does not use identity verification to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected under federal, state, or local law. Verification criteria are based solely on transaction-level risk indicators as described above.

     

  1. Alcohol, Smoking & Drug Policy
  • Alcohol: Permitted only in licensed vehicles (e.g., stretch limousines) and only if all passengers are age 21 or older. SVL reserves the right to check IDs and refuse service if age requirements are not met.
  • Smoking/Vaping: Strictly prohibited in or near vehicles.
  • Drugs: Possession or use of illegal substances is prohibited under New York Penal Law.

Violation incurs a $250 cleaning/violation fee and immediate service termination without refund.

  1. Lost or Damaged Items

SVL will make reasonable efforts to locate items left behind but assumes no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Recovery and return of found items is provided as a courtesy and cannot be guaranteed.

  1. Safety & Conduct
  • Vehicles must not exceed the legal seating capacity.
  • Chauffeurs reserve the right to terminate service without refund for unsafe, illegal, or abusive behavior.
  • SVL is not liable for service delays or interruptions caused by traffic, weather, road construction, or mechanical issues beyond our control.
  1. Vehicle Substitution

SVL reserves the right to upgrade or substitute a vehicle class at no additional charge due to scheduling or routing needs. Please advise at booking if you cannot ride in an SUV for medical or personal reasons.

  1. Affiliate Services

SVL may, at its discretion, partner with licensed affiliates to provide transportation services under the same quality and safety standards.

  1. Force Majeure

SVL shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, government orders, road closures, labor disputes, pandemics, or civil unrest. In such events, SVL will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule the service.

  1. Vehicle Breakdown or Mechanical Failure

While SVL maintains vehicles to high safety and maintenance standards, mechanical issues may occur unexpectedly.

  • SVL will make every reasonable effort to dispatch a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible.
  • Delays caused by mechanical failure will not constitute breach of contract if reasonable corrective action is taken.
  • If a replacement vehicle cannot be provided within a reasonable time, the Client will receive a prorated refund or full refund if service cannot be completed.
  • SVL is not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from delays, including missed flights, events, or appointments.
  1. Minors Policy

SVL is not a childcare provider and assumes no responsibility for unaccompanied minors. For prom, homecoming, and similar teen events, a signed parental/guardian waiver must be provided before the trip date. All passengers under the age of 21 are prohibited from consuming or possessing alcohol in SVL vehicles. No refund will be issued if service is terminated due to violations of this policy.

  1. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the services provided, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may pursue binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in New York County, New York. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorney’s fees unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

  1. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY NEW YORK LAW, SVL’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO SERVICES PROVIDED UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY THE CLIENT FOR THE SPECIFIC TRIP GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SVL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, MISSED FLIGHTS OR EVENTS, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE.

This limitation does not apply to damages resulting from SVL’s gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud, or to any claims that cannot be limited under applicable New York law.

  1. Privacy Notice

Personal and payment information collected by SVL is processed in accordance with applicable New York State and federal privacy laws. SVL does not sell, rent, or disclose Client data to third parties except as required by law, to process payments, or to complete transportation services through approved affiliates.   1. Confidentiality Notice

Communications between SVL and its Clients, including reservation details, pricing, and any attachments, may contain confidential or proprietary information. Unauthorized use, disclosure, or distribution of such information is prohibited and may be subject to legal action.

  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Subject to the dispute resolution procedures in Section 19, any litigation arising from this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County (Manhattan), and the parties hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

  1. SMS Terms of Service

Program Description: By opting in, you agree to receive automated text messages from Skyline VIP Limo, including reservation confirmations, driver updates, ETA notifications, and occasional promotional offers.

How to Opt In: You may opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our website contact or booking form. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or service.

How to Opt Out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a single confirmation message, and no further texts will be sent.

Privacy: Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at skylineviplimo.com/privacy-policy. SVL does not share your phone number or messaging data with third-party marketers.

  1. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, such finding shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the parties’ original intent.

  1. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with any reservation confirmation and applicable rate sheet, constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and SVL with respect to the subject matter hereof. This Agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written. No modification of this Agreement shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of SVL.

  1. Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By confirming a reservation with Skyline VIP Limo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please do not proceed with your reservation.
